The Convento Francescano is more than just a place; it is the heart of a family story.
Nestled among the mountains and hills of Cilento, this 14th-century convent represents a return to our roots.
We are Maria Chiara and Alberto, a couple of 27-year-olds who, after years in the hustle and bustle of Milan, decided to leave the city behind and invest in the land where Alberto's father, Dante, was born and raised.
With the love and support of Patrizia, Alberto’s mother, an entrepreneur who will also serve as Chef of the Convent’s Osteria starting in spring 2025, we have embarked on a journey to revive this unique place, respecting its history and transforming it into a haven of peace, authenticity, and beauty.
Every detail, from the rooms to the shared spaces, reflects our deep connection to Cilento and our desire to share its magic with everyone who visits.
This is our story, a dream nurtured with deep roots and a vision for the future.
